JUMY Foundation is a family foundation, incorporated in 2014 to promote healthy development of younger generation in all aspects. The founders of JUMY Foundation Believe that music and art education are essential for the purpose. To pursue our belief, JUMY Foundation have launched the first endeavor, the annual "J.Y. Park Piano Competition", in collaboration with the Department of Music at Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) in Fall 2014.
In 2016, we explored and ventured to work with an organization who runs a school for Guatemalan student in a remote village. It did not work out as we hoped.
In 2020, we started to award scholarships to Students in Department of Music at Western Connecticut State University. During the torment of Covid Pandemic, this small award lightened up students.
Also, in 2020, we established Awards to distinguished Korean Linguistic
Scholars in the name of my grandfather.
At the moment, we are exploring ‘work study’ grant program for young students.
As a new foundation, JUMY Foundation itself has to grow and continuously pursue worthwhile causes.
